Hi, I’m Tim.
As Executive Vice President for Domino’s, I led internal communications, public relations, events, crisis communications, philanthropy, investor relations, government affairs and more until 2022, when I launched T/M Communications. I am dedicated to promoting and protecting franchise brands through strategy, advice, experience and inspiration.
I have provided counsel to and written for CEOs and leadership teams for more than three decades, and I have presented keynote addresses and hosted award programs for audiences from 200 to 10,000 across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia on topics ranging from Leadership to Crisis Management. (See a list of my speaking engagements in the Services section.)
During my career, I led communications during the end of Domino’s 30-Minute Guarantee; the launch of the “NOID” ad campaign; the sale of the company to private equity; and several restructures and CEO/Leadership transitions. I was honored for my role in managing a social media crisis, which became featured in college texts and professional journals. With a franchise owner, I co-authored the book, Hire the American Dream. My articles on leadership and crisis management have been published on franchising.com.
I chaired Domino’s internal charity, the Partners Foundation, and my team led campaigns that raised more than $98 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during my tenure.
In 2026, I authored or co-authored two commissioned books: Who Are We?, a history of Domino’s told through the stories of nearly 90 franchisees, past and present, around the world; the other is Don’t Get Fired!…and Don’t Quit, a book by 40-year restaurant veteran Stan Gage, who shares the lessons he learned over that time.
In addition to supporting franchisees and their brands, I love reading historical fiction and biographies, running (particularly half marathons), traveling, hiking, snowshoeing and cheering on my favorite NBA team (the Detroit Pistons). In addition to consulting and speaking, In 2023 and 2024, I taught a 300-level course called “Crisis Management in Public Relations” at Eastern Michigan University.
